PATS 2025: joining and leading important industry discussions
Sciantec joined these conversations as an exhibitor at the Pet and Aquatic Trade Show (PATS) from 28th-30th September 2025.
Throughout the event, we talked to a wide range of visitors, from long-standing partners to new pet food manufacturers and suppliers. These conversations offered valuable insights into the recent motivations, challenges, and opportunities shaping the pet food and aquaculture industries.
The hot topic: trust and transparency in pet food
Throughout the show, one theme came up time and again: trust and transparency in pet food manufacturing. Many of the companies we spoke to told us that, while their products are often manufactured overseas, they rely heavily on the certificates of analysis (COAs) that come with those products. Increasingly, they want independent verification by an accredited UK laboratory to ensure accuracy.
